GAPSS (Group of Agro Professionals for Studies and Services) was founded in September 2013 by a multi-disciplinary team of experienced professionals in order to support the Agribusiness and Agro-based Products Sector. As the Government of Bangladesh along with its national and international development partners has precisely identified this sector as one with tremendous growth potential, there are prospects of supporting the sector with professional expertise in the area of innovative technologies, management, organization, policy, local and international marketing strategy research and capacity building.
GAPSS was formed to fulfill the prevailing needs for research& development, demonstration and consultancy services to Government agencies, Local and International NGOs, Donors and Private Sector Enterprises covering the vast field of agro-sectors and sub-sectors at home and abroad. In other words, this group is exclusively devoted to Agribusiness and Agro-based Products sector and offers a diverse range of technical, business and consultancy services.
In brief,GAPSS is an independent private organization consisting of professionals, researchers, and scholars with multidisciplinary backgrounds drawn from various institutions.
