Professor Dr. M. Burhan Uddin,Consultant

Professor Dr. M. BurhanUddin has excellent track record in food industry in technical and agricultural researches and has acquired huge experiences throughout his more than 35 years' career within a broad range of professional fields related to process facilitation, planning, monitoring and evaluation especially qualitative monitoring and evaluation, and participatory development approaches. This combination of analytical skills and practical experiences enables Dr. Chaudhury to design, facilitate, establish and run participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation systems; build capacity concerning planning and monitoring; undertake PRA, SWOT and LFA training and facilitation; conduct qualitative researches. He has done hisM Sc (Food Technology) from CFTRI., Mysore, India and Ph.D in INFSDhaka University of Bangladesh.He started his career as Lecturer, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Now he is Professor in theBangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh.His lots of Publication Published in International and Local Journals.

Dr. Mohammad Gulzarul Aziz, Consultant

He has vast Experience in Food Processing Line. He has done hisB. Sc. Agril. Engineering, M. Sc. Food Technology fromBangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh (BAU) and PhD in Food Biotechnology, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Austria.He started his career as Lecturer, BAU. Now he have asAssociate Professor of BAU.Before joining BAU, he was working with Department for  International Development (DFID), Bangladesh Chapter as a Scientific Officer.His lots of Publication Published in International and Local Journals.

Dr. Md. Sajedur Rahman Chaudhury, Consultant

Dr. Md. SajedurRahmanChaudhury has a background in socio-economic and agricultural researches and has acquired huge experiences throughout his more than 18 years’ career within a broad range of professional fields related to process facilitation, planning, monitoring and evaluation especially qualitative monitoring and evaluation, and participatory development approaches. This combination of analytical skills and practical experiences enables Dr. Chaudhury to design, facilitate, establish and run participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation systems; build capacity concerning planning and monitoring; undertake PRA, SWOT and LFA training and facilitation; conduct qualitative researches; gender mainstreaming in programming and evaluation; advise on institutional and socio-economic aspects of project or sector programme planning and finally, plan public information campaigns. He is frequently using various PRA tools and process tools like LFA, Appreciative Inquiry, etc. These skills have so far been applied in connection with education, health and nutrition, micro-finance, waste management, integrated rural development, human and women rights, natural resource management, water resources development, water and sanitation, livelihoods development, food security and safety, markets and livelihood and agricultural development projects or programmes in different parts of Bangladesh. Hence, his research interests and experience focuses on social protection, food security, livelihoods, poverty and vulnerability, women empowerment, etc.

Professor Dr. Md. Zulfikar Rahman, Consultant

Dr. Zulfikarobtained  his M. Sc. in Aquaculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh (BAU) in the year of 1991 and PhD, Graduate School of Biosphere Science Hiroshima University in the year of 2000. Now He is working as a Professor of BAU in department of Agricultural Extension. Also working with various national and international agencies as the consultant currently.

Professor Dr. Md. Golam Mortuza, Consultant

He has done his M. Sc. in Biochemistry  from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh (BAU) in the year of 1996 and PhD in Biotechnology from NCHU, Taiwan in the year of 2009. He is working as a Professor of Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,BAU. Also working with various national and international agencies as the consultant currently.

Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Consultant

Dr. Shahjahan has completed his MSc. and BSc. Hons  in Biochemistry from the University of Dhaka 1972 and 1971 respectively, MPS degree in Food and Nutrition Planning from the University of Philippines (UPLB) in 1991 and PhD degree in Biochemistry from the University of Dhaka in the year 2003. Four years teaching experience under the department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in the Bangabandhu Sheikh MujiburRahman Agricultural University, Gazipur& Thirty years’ service experience as an agricultural scientist at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute. The research areas were postharvest handling, processing, and preservation and quality evaluation agricultural crops. Now he have as Associate Visiting Professor, Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Bangabandhu  SheikhMijiburRahman Agricultural University, Gazipur. he was working as a Principal Scientific Officer (Rtd), Postharvest Technology Division, BARI, Gazipur. His lots of Publication Published in International and Local Journals.

Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Hossaiun, Consultant

Dr. Ismailobtained his M.S. in Aquaculture from Kochi University, Japan in the year of 1998, PhD degree in Food science & Technology from Ehime University, Japan in the year 2001 and Post-Doctorate in Food Science from Kochi University, Japan in the year of 2005. Over 19 years’ experience in Teaching & Research, and University Administrative.He was Worked as a National Consultant in Better Quality and Standard Program (BQSP) - Fisheries Component, United Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) from May, 2008 to June 2010 and Working as a National Expert  in Better Work and Standards-Fisheries Component (BEST-BFQ), United Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Since July  2010 to date. Now he have as a Professor, Department of Fisheries Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh-2202, Bangladesh. His lots of Publication Published in International and Local Journals.

Dr. Shikhaobtained his M.S. in Aquaculture from Kochi University, Japan in the year of 2001, PhD degree in Food science & Technology from Ehime University, Japan in the year 2005. Over 11 years’ experience in Teaching & Research, and University Administrative.Now she have as a Professor, Department of Fisheries Technology, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh-2202, Bangladesh. DR. MD. AZIZUR RAHMAN, Consultant

He has vast Experience in Horticulture and plant biotechnology Line. He has done his M. Sc. In M Sc (Ag) in Horticulture from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh (BAU) in the year of 1993 and PhD in Plant Molecular Genetics from Imperial College, University of London in the year of 2002. Dr. Mohamamd Mahfujul Haque, Consultant

He has done his M. Sc. inAquaculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh (BAU) in the year of 2001 and PhD, Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling, United Kingdom in the year of 2008. He have as a Professor of BAU. His lots of Publication Published in International and Local Journals.

Professor Dr. M. Serajul Islam, Consultant

Professor Dr. M. Serajul Islam has excellent track record in agricultural Economics researches in Bangladesh & outside of Bangladesh. He Conducted research on fisheries economics, livestock economics, farming system research and environmental studies, gender role and women empowerment, food security,  value chain 1985 – 2013. Worked as national consultant for FAO, WFP, DFID, WorldFish Center, Winrock International, CARE and SOMRA, EC 1994 - 2010.Completed 25 research projects funded by Ford Foundation, DFID, WorldFish Center, NRI, FAO and BARC 1985 - 2013.Conducted a good number of PRA for different project.Reviewed a good number of research articles, MS Thesis and research proposals for different institutes of home and abroad.Supervised 50 MS and 04 Ph.D. theses. Fifty scientific articles have been published in different journals of home and abroad. He has over 38 years’ experience in agricultural Economics line. He has done his M. Sc. Ag. Econ. (Production Econ. & Farm Management) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh and Ph.Din  Agricultural Economics from The higher Economic Institute Sofia, Bulgaria. He started his career as a Lecturer, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Mohammad MatloobAkther, Consultant

Mohammad MatloobAktherhas 27 years of rich experience in R&D. He has done his M.A. in Philosophy, University of Dhaka, 1983 (Held in 1986).He started his career as Lecturer Dept. of Philosophy Jahangirnagar University, Savar Dhaka.Assisted number of NGOs in project formulation and trained their personnel and imparted training to their trainers. He has an incredible knowledge on Monitoring and evaluation along with the supply chain.

S.M. Sharifuzzaman, Consultant

S.M. Sharifuzzaman has excellent track record in Planning, designing, implementation, managing, monitoring and evaluation of development program. Around 17 years working experience in the development sector with different national and international organizations. He has done his MS in Horticulture (Agriculture), Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh (Jan. 1995- June 1996). He worked in the Agriculture (Technology transfer, research, extension, production, marketing etc), Social Development and Poverty reduction, Livelihood, Food Security, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate change, Nutrition and Gender sectors in the diversified field both in government, private and NGO sector. Worked in partnership/participatory approach.He was holding different positions (techinical and maangerial). Worked as a team leader and team member with national and international consultant.

Md. Amir Hossain has long (25 years) working experiences with national and international and multinational organizations on social development in the fields ofStrengthening capacity building of GO/NGOs service providers, CBOs etc, good governance and integrating gender, Livelihood development through IGA, women entrepreneurship developmentat community level, Local resource management, behaviour change, community mobilizationand development, Disaster preparedness and management, Agriculture extension and storage cum credit program for medium and marginal farmers, Primary and adolescent health care and STD/HIV-AIDS, Water and sanitation, Arsenic removal technologies.

M. M. Masood Ahmed, Consultant

M. M. Masood Ahmed has completed hisMaster of Arts, 1974 (exam held in 1976) in Social Welfare, Dhaka University. He has vast knowledge in Baseline & Evaluation Study, Programme and initiative development on HIV/AIDS prevention, Pro-poor Livelihood and IGA, Institutional Development, Socio-Economic Development Initiatives, Social Mapping & Market Development, NGO Capacity Building, Training and Facilitation, Project Management and Planning, PRA method and CBR approach, Life skills based education & training, Reporting and Documentation etc.

 

Md. Anayet Husain Topader, Consultant

He has vast Experience in Marketing and Value Chain Development. He has done his M. Sc. in Food Technology from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in 2006.In previous he was as a Processing & Value Chain Specialist of Mott MacDonald, Patuakhali and also worked in Practical Action Bangladesh , UNWFP Bangladesh etc.

  2. Consultancy service to ensure URSA certification and completion for gap analysis of GSK Audit.
